Body Assembly

Tutorial: D-Panel

Set up your workspace - you will need your handy-dandy Roper Whitney #5 Junior Hand Punch, set up with a 5/32" punch $ Die, a stubby bladed screw driver, a ruler, a laundry marker and a small light hammer - I used a tack hammer.

There are large removable panels at the rear of each front wheel well that seal the rear part of the wing and the body from mud and water thrown up by the wheel. When new, these had a molded seal that fit around the metal of the panel. We are now not so lucky, and must make do with a flat piece of rubber that is cut to shape.
